Auto Body
A renovation of a former auto mechanic garage into an art exhibition space for a non-profit arts organization called Auto Body. The in-house renovation included the removal of a dropped ceiling to expose the original roof trusses, cleaning and waxing of a formerly oil stained concrete floor, new electric, and the addition of built-in millwork to serve as a book room. As the building was previously vacant for eight years, the purpose of the renovation of this large industrial space was to provide a gathering space and art exhibition space for all members of the Bellport community.
